Engaged : Mallory + Scott

Today's engagement session includes some of our favorite shots ever. Maybe its because of the fact we found a great location in the middle of Florida (which is in fact harder than you might think with the kind of style we are going for - were not too big on palm trees). Or maybe its because Mallory and Scott are an awesome, fun couple with so much style - which made them so easy to photograph! I personally think its a mixture of both.

I go to school with Mallory here at Southeastern. We will be graduating together in December. Woo hoo! I was thrilled when she asked Michael and I to photograph her and Scott's engagement pictures. We loved getting to know them and had a lot of fun at their session. We wish you both a happy wedding day coming up next year as well as a happy marriage!

Love Shoot : Michael + Lindsey

So, today we have one sweet session to show you. Michael and Lindsey were married a year ago. And let me tell you, they are such a cool couple. Michael knows Michael (ha!) because his band used to play with his band at shows. Michael asked us to meet the two of them in Atlanta for a surprise birthday photo shoot for Lindsey. (which Michael ruined by posting on facebook we were headed down to Atlanta for a shoot - whoops!) Anyways, we were worried we were not going to be able to find a location in the amount of time we were there. Michael and Lindsey are from Orlando and we only really know locations around Charlotte/Raleigh. But we lucked out in finding this beautiful nature reserve. Despite the down pouring of rain, the photo shoot was a success!

Kat + Dave: Married! {Part 2}

Kat and Dave were smart enough to have their Bride and Groom session AFTER the reception. We absolutely loved this idea. No rush at all. We believe these photos are the most important. These are the photos you will most likely hang in your home one day. So why not take your time on them? Obviously, this can not be done at every wedding, but if you have the opportunity to do so - you definitely should! You'll have great photos to show for it!

Heres a few of our favorites!

Kat thought it would be a great idea to bring along some teacups from England to take pictures with. I couldn't agree more!
